Why?
As the capital of Russia, Moscow is its political, scientific, historical, architectural and business centre, from which power and might of the Russian state developed.
When? One aspect of the city remains constant and that is the harshness of the Moscow winter. Despite the bitter cold, there is nothing so beautiful as seeing St Basil's Cathedral in the falling snow. In contrast, summer temperatures over 30°C (86°F) are not unusual.
Who for? We challenge anyone not to be impressed by the fabulous sights in Moscow, including the shops!
