Running alongside a long stretch of beach, Ocean Club Beach Resort is unique in that it's spread throughout the village. It is a superb location for those looking for a little more independence.  There are championship golf courses nearby,  and a 5 court tennis centre on site with our professional coaching programme, 2 family swimming pools and one adult only one. If you feel like pampering yourself try our Viva health and beauty salon, which offers a variety of treatments.

 

Dining

Dining is on a half board basis including wine at dinner. Guests will have a buffet, BBQ and dinner in the Pizzeria one evening a week and a a la carte menu the remaining 4 evenings in the Mill Restaurant. There are also a number of other restaurants and bars in the village which are well worth a visit. There are well stocked supermarkets, all a short walk from the accommodation, should you simply prefer lunch on your terrace or balcony.

Accommodation

Accommodation is in fully furnished apartments, clustered in different areas around the village, all about a 10 minute walk from our facilities. Some have gardens and overlook the pool, others have sea views. And each has a balcony or terrace, fully equipped kitchen and maid service three times a week.

 

1 Bedroom Apartments: Comprising of 1 twin or double room, 1 lounge area and a kitchen or kitchenette.

2 Bedroom Apartments: Comprising of either 2 twins rooms or a twin and a double room, 1 lounge area & a kitchen or kitchenette. 

 

Room Facilities:

All linen and bath towels, phones, TV, kettle, toasters, ovens, crockery, cutlery, fridge.  Hairdryers available to hire at €10 per week.  Fans available to hire at €10 per week. Safety deposit boxes available in reception.

 

Tennis at the Ocean Club

The Ocean Club is one of our top tennis centres with one resident British tennis coache, available to coach groups or on a one to one basis - both adults and children.  We also run social tennis throughout the week and a friendly mixed doubles tournament that is very popular. There are 5 hard painted tennis courts, 2 of which are floodlit.  Racquets and Balls are free of charge to hire.

The Ocean Club Beach Resort is within easy reach of some of the best golf courses in the Algarve.Guests of the Ocean Club can take advantage of discounted green fees at the following three superb courses, when they book through the Ocean Club.

 

Mountain Biking in the Algarve

Our guided mountain biking tours are extremely popular and give you the chance to get out and explore this fabulous part of the Algarve. Our guides know the local surrounding areas well and will tailor a ride to suit you as well as advising you on riding techniques for different parts of the terrain covered. Guided tours cost just 10 Euros.

 

Family Holidays to the Algarve

Childcare is available at the Ocean Club for children aged 1 year upwards. The creches and childcare clubs are light and airy with first class facilities, not to mention our team of friendly, qualified nannies. The children's activity schedule is full of fun and lots of play. 

 

Toddler Club (1 and 2 year olds)

Our toddler club has lots of room for indoor and outdoor play and plenty of stimulating toys and games. We aim to maintain a ratio of one nanny to every four children.

Indy Club (14 - 17 year olds)

Family holidays are great, but older kids somethimes want to enjoy some independence, so for guests between 14 and 17 years of age we run the Indy Club. It's a club where teenagers can meet fellow guests of their own age and together enjoy a full programme of activities. NB The Indy Club runs during the summer school holiday period and October half term.

Evening Activities

 

Free Evening Creche (4mths - 9 year olds)

We run a free evening creche service at Ocean Club from 7:30 - 11:30pm in peak and 7.00 - 11.00pm in off peak, enabling parents to relax over dinner whilst we look after your children.  Alternatively babysitting can be arranged on request but is subject to availability.

 

Free Evening Entertainment Programme (9 - 17 year olds)

For children aged 6 to 17 years, we will be running a fully supervised evening entertainment programme until 10.30pm. We ask that you sign children in and out if they wish to join in. 

 

 

Optional Extras:
