Marrakech la medina, in the heart of the historic medina quarter, provides a great base for exploring the city and its culture. Excursions from the resort include a horse-drawn tour of the city’s peaceful gardens, and a visit to the mesmerising souks.

The Resort
When the sun sits low in the sky, Djemaa el-Fna Square starts to come alive. To the hypnotic rhythm of the Gnawa musicians, Marrakech's famous square turns into a throng of merchants, storytellers, acrobats and snake charmers. Looking out over this scene from the heart of the old town between the souk and the palace, our Resort is an oasis of tranquillity. The Moorish-style hotel, with its rooms grouped around the patio, is steeped in Moroccan tradition. Fountain, solarium and lush garden - the Resort's intimate atmosphere contrasts with the bustling life of the nearby medina.

Parks & Gardens
In the centre of Marrakech, the Resort boasts little gardens with palm trees and bougainvillaea. ¨Patios with ornamental ponds and floral compositions add the perfect finishing touch.

Accommodation
Resort with 207 rooms all located in the two-storey Moorish style hotel, with no lift, situated around large tree-lined courtyards with fountains.
Club Room
Moorish decoration, terracotta tiles, mosaics and monochrome walls, large open lounge with sofa, desk and large tiled shower. A room with an intimate feel and typically Moroccan charm.

L'Oliveraie
On the 1st floor of the Medina, this restaurant welcomes you at all mealtimes for a wide selection of international dishes. Its salons and terrace make a beautifully intimate setting. A selection of Mediterranean dishes are proposed à la carte in the evening. The restaurant is also open for late lunch after an excursion or a round of golf. Tables must be booked in the evening, at Reception. Waiter service for lunch and dinner.
La Palmeraie
At the heart of La Palmermaie, this international buffet restaurant is the ideal place to relax with friends. The various salons offer a variety of local ambiences. Golfers will appreciate the late-lunch service specially proposed for them. The terrace, surrounded by ponds and flowering shrubs, is the perfect place to enjoy the gentle Moroccan climate. The restaurant has a baby corner where parents can prepare their babies' meals.
El Kebir
A must in the Palmeraie zone of the Resort, this buffet restaurant with typical decor focuses on local specialities. Choose from a variety of tagines and coucous. Open for late lunch and dinner only. Booking required; waiter service.

Bars:
Available all day and evening (during bar opening hours) in all the bars in the Resort.
Drinks included (served by the glass and in the bars only): Water, fruit juices, sodas, hot drinks, cocktails with and without alcohol, local and/or international spirits, wines. Sweet and savoury snacks

Le Medina
Enjoy the "Casbah" ambience in this spacious bar in the heart of the Medina. Small oriental salons, tapestries, local pottery and wrought iron sculpture: pure Moroccan tradition. In the evening, the lounge ambience and piano bar are a wonderful way to relax. Snacks served.
L'Ourika
A unique bar on the rooftops of the Medina under a vast Berber tent. Spectacular view from the terrace over Jemaa el-Fnâ on one side and La Koutoubia on the other.
Le Pacha
In the centre of La Palmeraie, near the swimming pool, a bar where you can meet up with friends and family to go over the events and high spots of the day. Open day time and evenings, serves snacks (tea time and appetizers) and late breakfast.

The leisure and sports activities proposed in this Resort provide a great opportunity to get to know your host country. All sports and some leisure activities take place at Marrakech la Palmeraie (free shuttle).
