Chalethotel Moris is set right in the centre of Val d'Isere above the Moris Pub, the resort's most popular bar. Situated just across the road from the Solaise and Bellevarde lifts and ski schools -everything you need is right on your doorstep.

The Moris is one of our smallest chalethotels with the sociable feel of a chalet. The views are great, the location perfect and the atmosphere special.  You get the feeling that people have been enjoying themselves here for years hence it feels like a club, instantly familiar and completely unpretentious. The kind of place where you make life long friends and return year after year  as many of our guests do.  The Moris chalethotel is reserved exclusively for  adults (18 yrs +) outside of the main school holidays.

Up on the first floor the dining room is lovely and warm with great views over the village and mountains.  The lounge bar is small but fun, certainly well stocked and perfectly relaxing after a hard day's skiing.  The lively Moris Pub is just downstairs and is one of the most popular bars in Val d'Isere.

Accommodation
The bedrooms are simple but comfortable and there are plenty of single rooms available. Most rooms have their own bath or shower and some have W.C's.  Single and room share options are available for solo travellers.

Twin - Twin beds with wash basin. WC and shower located along the corridor.

Please be aware that some rooms in the Moris, do not have a wc or bath/shower.

The Chalethotel Moris is exclusively adult only outside school holidays (over 18yrs) but welcomes children during school holiday dates from 7 years upwards.

Whether you are travelling alone, with friends, as a couple or as a group, you'll find a warm welcome at the Moris. The hotel  accommodates up to 60 guests, so it takes no time at all to get to know fellow skiers. The bar is a great meeting point and the restaurant is laid out for dining on larger tables, making dinner a very social affair. We have some tempting discounts for those travelling as a group of friends, and during the season we will offer reductions on single supplements.

There is plenty of relaxing and entertainment to be had in Val d'Isere.  Bars and restaurants too numerous to list, shops and boutiques that are top notch and a brand news Sports Centre in the village with two swimming pools, a climbing wall, a gym, spa room with sauna, Turkish bath and two squash courts.  What's more there is an ice rink with views to die for.

Your Val d'Isere lift pass gives you one free entry to the Sports Centre, and it really is well worth a visit if only for a Turkish bath to soothe those aching muscles.

Ski Hosting
Our ski and snowboard hosts know the mountains inside out and are ready and waiting to show you the best of them.  Their experienceon the mountain is first class and they're frequently cited as one of the main reasons why our guests come back time and again.  Ski hosting is also a great way to meet fellow guests.

Ski hosting (whilst not suitable for beginners) caters for both skiers and snowboarders, split into groups suitable for those who either like to take a gentle pace round the mountain through to those looking for something slightly faster and more adventurous.  We host groups over 5 days of the week (2 days in St Anton), and you are welcome to join for a full day or half day of hosted skiing.

Meeting after breakfast, our ski host will guide you round the slopes, finding some of the best snow conditions and the shortest lift queues.  A stop for lunch with a table reserved in advance, and a chance to catch up with fellow guests and friends.  Choose to continue in the afternoon with the group or take some time out to do your own thing.

And when the skiing is over, our hosts will point out the good après ski spots, or accompany you back to the hotel for a well deserved cup of tea and delicious feast of homemade cake and biscuits.

A 6 day Val D'Isere lift pass is valid for all lifts in Val D'Isere.  An Espace Killy pass is valid for all lifts in Val D'Isere and Tignes plus one day's skiing in La Plagne, the 3 Valleys and Les Arcs.  There are 7 free nursery lifts in Val D'Isere and 4 free nursery lifts in Tignes.
